Adsense Treasure Review from Someone That Uses Adsense Treasure

Have you gotten an email that promises 40K a month from Adsense? Me too and because I’m curious – I bought it to test it out and here is my review of Adsense Treasure.

In a nutshell, this is a powerful search portal you’re being given. There are 6 sections : Car Tips, Computer Tips, Finance Tips, Shopping Tips, Travel Tips and Videos – thousands of links to videos in all the above categories and more.

Adsense Treasure is a pretty cool program. It comes with a gazillion articles (okay about 1100 of them), and you get a program that is easy for the technically not-so-inclined to use. Basically, you simply replace one word with another. For example in the Car Tips folder of articles, I replaced the word “auto” with the word “car”. In Shopping Tips, I replaced the word “buying” with the word “purchasing” in all the articles and it was done with one click of a mouse button!

Now, most of this content is a couple of year’s old so it needs to be freshened up. To make this system really work for you instead of being just another “Made for Adsense” site that will basically get dismissed by Google and other search engines as not very important – here is what you can do.

Add your own current content. Along with spinning the articles, get yourself a set of PLR articles in the niche markets of cars, computers, finance, shopping and travel. They aren’t hard to locate. Keyword Content PLR, PLR Pro and Nichemarket PLR are all great places to start. Do not use them “as is”; always, always, ALWAYS spin your PLR. Also, write your own content for each section. It doesn’t have to be something Pulizter Prize winning. Just 250 words or more about something that relates to your section. Most days I use “Google Trends” and if anything in the top 30 matches a basic category for my Adsense Treasure website – then I write a short piece about it. It’s good for generating fast clicks because people are really looking for this stuff NOW.

Make your site unique, go into the header of your index page for each category (it’s only 5 pages – you don’t have to do Videos) and add in meta tags, keywords, descriptions – all that jazz. Show the search engines that your site is an expert in answers in these categories and is very worthy of indexing. I personally went a step further and created Wordpress blogs for the each of the categories instead of using the provided index pages for cars, computers, finance, shopping and travel. I left the Video section as is. I left the main index page as is, except I added in question boxes from Justanswer – where they have actual doctors, lawyers and vets that answer questions for a small fee and I get a commission for every answer accepted.

I usually hit Google Trends in the morning before the kids are up and pick out a few keywords. I craft a short article for each section and post. I use a signature at the bottom of each article so if the site is scraped then my site is the authority site not the scrapee site.

When I find products I like that have affiliate products, such as Acer’s Cool Pink Netbook, I post something about that at my site with a link. It’s current info, human created and unique and best of all, has the potential to make a commission for me.

Set up your site at Google Webmaster Tools and submit a site map to Google once you’re rockin’ along with your site and have it set up. You can easily see if there are issues with any pages and if your site is indexed and if so, which pages are indexed.

I set up a Twitter account for my account and I follow 10-20 people per day. Surprisingly, a lot of them follow me back and Twitter has been great for traffic generation. I use TwitterFeed so every new article goes automatically on Twitter and I don’t have to do anything but log into Twitter and follow people. This is a great way to keep your Twitter account rocking and also keep traffic coming in because your site is posting information daily.

Go here and grab this list of sites to block MFA (Made for Adsense sites) that will lower your click quality and therefore lower your click revenue – block all of these sites from displaying on your Adsense pages – easy to do at Adsense under the “competitive ad filter” tab.

Okay down to the tawdry topic of coin, you want to know how much I’m making. I have been doing this for about 3 weeks and my site has gone from roughly .30 (yes, .30 cents stop laughing) per day to about $10-$15 a day from Adsense I can count on- remember I haven’t even been doing this a solid month yet. Plus, my affiliate marketing efforts are starting to see sales – especially computer tips category with links to Amazon.com. I have seen a steady rise in traffic and every day I do the same thing :
1- hit Google Trends
2-write down any relevant hot searches
3-if Google Trends does’t give me enough topics, I hit Google Keyword Tool and put in each category for ideas on top searches and long tail keywords to base short articles on.
4-Write a short article for each category or purchase PLR and spin it.
5- Log into Twitter and follow 10-20 people per day.

I’m able to do all of this every morning in about an hour an a half at the most. Most mornings I don’t even have to hit Google Keyword Tool and trends will give me everything I need.
I am not doing article marketing, press releases or Google Adwords to drive traffic. I wanted to experiment with completely free and low maintenance ways to make money online. So far, so good!

UPDATED – when I wrote this original post, I hadn’t discovered a completely automated way to post that well, basically didn’t suck. WP-O-Matic is free from wordpress but it grabs a lot of garbage no matter how precise you do your settings.
So I opted for to use Blogprofitz – almost every article I post on my Adsense Treasure blogs is now linked to an affiliate marketing item that is being promoted and my clicks along to Amazon have jumped from around 900 per month to over 3,000. The sales have jumped from about 2 per month to 14 or so. With no additional work from me.

Only 1,000 members are accepted at any time at Blogprofitz and whether or not you think it’s worth $19 a month is up to you. Personally, the fact I can have 3-5 posts per day per category just ROCKS!

Also, I completely killed the video section of my Adsense Treasure site. It was taking up 400 megs of space on my server and basically no revenue so I’d rather have the free space.

Wordpress Plugins Used

Add Sig – you want to put a signature on all of your posts so when people scrape your site for content (and they will) your signature and backlink will identify your site as the authority site not where it’s posted.

Google Site Map set up a Google Webmaster account if you haven’t already and load your site map in there! You can see which of your pages on your site get indexed and if the robot has any issues -this helps you create a high quality page for Google and other search engines so you can get good organic results quickly.

WP Auto Tagger – this creates tags for every post automatically.

Sociable Use this to put links to social sites on every post. You’d be amazed how many people find products and post them to Twitter saying “I want this for my birthday/anniversary/blah blah blah”) – make it easy for people to share information off your site and they will.
